Donation events are critical to the success of Goodwill's mission. Getting out in the community makes it convenient for our generous donors to drop off their items, while increasing community awareness of our organization. Items collected at donation events go right into our stores, where their sale funds programs and services that empower individuals with disadvantages and different abilities to earn and keep employment.
As a Donation Drive Ambassador, you will:
- Maintain a positive attitude and greet donors with a smile and a thank you
- Place and remove signs before and after the event
- Lift/place donations into Goodwill truck and sort them
- Distribute tax receipts and mission handouts to donors
- Assist with flow of donor traffic
- Promote the event at surrounding businesses and/or homes
When you partner with Goodwill, you are empowering people with disadvantages and different abilities to earn and keep employment. Thank you!
