Volunteers play an integral part in the success of St. John’s Hospital. Their dedication enhances the care we provide our patients and visitors each and every day. St. John's Hospital has a great volunteer opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hospital nursing unit. This role is ideal for volunteers interested in the medical field or with previous medical experience.
Volunteer role
The patient unit volunteer is responsible for answering call lights, providing patients with hospitality cares, assisting RN's with various tasks, transporting patients, assisting with patient discharges, light cleaning, stocking supplies, and other duties as assigned.
