The ReStore warehouse assistant position is a really fun way to get involved with Habitat for Humanity! All items for sale in the Habitat ReStore are donated to us by the community at large and this is where you come in.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers who are willing and able to assist our warehouse supervisor with donations processing/pricing and customer service duties. You can even ride along with our donations ambassador on his daily truck route. Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shifts are flexible.
Applicants should possess the following traits/abilities:
- Passion for helping others
- Friendly and Personable
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly and safely; 50lbs for truck assistants

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community and all over the world, helping them build or improve a place they call home. Working alongside volunteers, Habitat homeowners put in hundreds of "sweat equity" hours as they help build their own homes. Homeowners then purchase their home and pay an affordable mortgage.
The self-empowerment created by this opportunity helps homeowner families eliminate barriers to a better, healthier, more financially stable life. We believe that with a little help, we all have the potential to stand on our own.
