Dinosaur Hill is looking for actors, performers, etc for our Halloween Hoot!
The Halloween Hoot is a fundraiser for Dinosaur Hill. It consists of a series of 4-5 minute skits (or short musical revues) set up in the nature preserve. Groups of up to 30 people are led into the woods every 10 minutes to view these skits. Skits can be short, humorous, crowd interactive, etc.
We are in need of skits and campfire entertainers to make this event a success. So if you can act, sing, craft, use puppets behind a mini-stage for a few minutes (we can even provide a skit!) or play a musical instrument, do some magic, face paint, etc... we are looking for it all!

Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve, Inc. is a nonprofit educational corporation supported by memberships, grants, donations and fund raising projects. The preserve and nature center are very much an integral part of the Rochester community, enjoying the support and volunteer help of Rochester area residents and businesses. Many volunteer hours have been and continue to be spent in developing and maintaining the preserve, teaching of classes, as well as in helping with various fund raising projects. Sixteen acres of wood, meadow and stream, nestled in the midst of one of Rochester Michigan's neighborhoods and only 5 minutes from most shopping and business areas, Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve provides a quiet oasis of natural beauty; the perfect opportunity to take a lunch-hour stroll through an enchanting winter wonderland or along a spring path rioting with color. Before you leave, don't forget to visit Dinosaur Hill's award winning nature center, the perfect setting for displaying nature's bounties and teaching her lessons. In the nature center you will find brochures describing the many programs Dinosaur Hill offers for groups, children, adults and families. Classes are small and are taught by experienced, professional staff.
