Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Foundation Bookkeeper with in recording, reconciling and organizing accounting data.

* Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures.

* Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

* Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.

* Assist in filing duties.

* Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience

* Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.

* Organized and able to handle multiple time sensitive projects.

* Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.

* Efficient record keeping

* Critical attention to detail
