Someone who has social media experience and building crowd funding campaigns to coordinate our next crowd funding initiative. Person must be knowledgeable in managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) Grant proposal writing experience is helpful.
Our Project has two areas that are being developed at the same time: a museum exhibit in Brazil ( that will tour the world afterwards) and the physical implementation of the food baskets in 4 regions of Brazil. It is an exciting opportunity to see a project be born and shift Brazil into sustainability. The ideal candidate is self-driven and has excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Initially needing ~3 hours a week, and can work from home online, but a weekly 2 hour meeting with Founder/Director is important.

Description
Earth Rights Institute (ERI) takes an innovative approach to join education, advocacy and research in building ecologically, economically and culturally sustainable communities in some of the world’s poorest communities. Earth Rights Institute advocates a model of development that supports the re-localization of development expertise. We believe that in order to empower communities of the global south to manage and direct their own development, strategies and expert knowledge must be conceived locally. ERI is a United Nations NGO affiliate for ECOSOC, UN Habitat, UNCSD, and UN Finance and Development.
