We are looking for high school students in the Las Vegas/Henderson areas who are passionate about the fight against cancer! We actually have two sperate high school Relay events. These take place at Silverado High School and Spring Valley High School. ANY student at ANY school is more than welcome to join the Event Leadership Team for these events and help us plan and organize the best 2018 events possible!
Gain some amazing experience that looks great on a resume: leadership, event planning, customer service, volunteer management, networking, marketing, etc
Make new friends and memories, have fun, save lives and give HOPE to those in your community!
Meetings are after school (4:30pm) once a week for one hour. Team starts planning in August and continues through the year until the event in April.

Description
The American Cancer Society has been involved in many of the cancer research breakthroughs; we dedicate a lot of time and money to cancer research. The American Cancer Society also offers several programs to cancer patients, aiming to improve their quality of life - our Quality of Life centers are volunteer-staffed and provide cancer patients with free wigs and other items.
