Urgent Need: The Meals on Wheels Program is looking for flexible and dedicated volunteers that have 2 hours of their morning open to help deliver meals to our home bound seniors in Guilford County. Monday-Friday, we deliver 300-400 nutritious meals to seniors that are unable to cook, shop, or feed themselves. Meals on Wheels is not just a meal but it is also a well visit. Imagine being home for days at a time and not seeing a single soul! Well Meals on Wheels provides our seniors with the opportunity to not only receive a hot meal everyday, but they can interact with someone to help them through feelings of loneliness and depression. If it weren't for Meals On Wheels, some people wouldn't even have a reason to get out of bed! So if you are interested in learning more about this AMAZING organization and you are wanting to put a smile on a seniors face, please become a Meals On Wheels volunteer!
