PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Screening Team Member gathers relevant information about prospective volunteer candidates while assessing which positions volunteers are best suited for. Individuals on this team work to provide an excellent experience for all new volunteers joining the American Red Cross.
OPEN TIME DAYS
- 8 hours per week, over a 6 month period
- Hours should typically be served during business hours
- Orientation to the American Red Cross
- Volunteer Connection Orientation
- Training with Volunteer Services Team at the Fairfax office｠
IMPORTANT: The next orientation will take place JULY 25th. At least ONE ADDITIONAL day should be scheduled for training the week of the 25th.
After this first week, volunteers will be asked to attend an in-office training twice a week for a period of 2 weeks (during business hours). At the completion of training, there will be some availability to work remotely.
