Chair, Technology Planning Committee- The 1City Academy

We are looking for a committed professional to Chair the Technology Planning Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.

The Technology Planning Committee will be responsible for developing and overseeing the overall technology functions and programs for the schools. They will make recommendations for equipment, software, hardware, programs, services and staffing that the school will need in every area and will also work to develop technology/media programs for the students.

The Chair will work with the Pastor to develop the agenda and materials for each meeting and will then convene a monthly conference call. Other work can be done virtually as determined by the Chair. The Chair's primary goal is to lead the committee in managing tasks to complete the work that it identified in its committee description and to keep the group focused and on task.

Candidates with significant experience in information technology are strongly encouraged to apply.

The next committee meetings are being scheduled for October.
