What you’ll do:

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for assisting the organization in all aspects of managing volunteers for our international field work programming. Responsibilities include scheduling, logistics, and coordination of teams in more than 10 countries annually. S/he assists with the execution of the online registration process and peer-to-peer fundraising. This is a flexible position and can be done remotely or from our office in Dallas, Texas.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage online registration process of medical and support volunteers
  • Organize volunteer registration information (i.e. health/allergies) & send reports to in- country staff
  • Liaise with in-country staff to prepare field work, trip itineraries & work projects
  • Communicate program policies & procedures to mission leaders and volunteers
  • Update web-based calendar with volunteer trip reservations
  • Troubleshoot and assist volunteers with personal & team fundraising pages
  • Track funds raised by teams & provide regular progress updates to the CEO and team leaders
  • Shared responsibility on communications
  • Other duties as assigned by the CEO

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Dedication to and understanding of Grace for Impact’s mission
  • Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
  • Highly self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative working style and an eagerness to learn from others
  • Experience with NEON/Blackbaud/CLASSY a plus
