The ultimate summer soiree featuring a live polo match, dinner, auction and dancing. We are seeking volunteers to help with set up, clean up, parking, raffle tickets and auction.
VOLUNTEERS:
VIP RAFFLE TICKET SALES:

Description:
Walk around main house during VIP party selling raffle tickets to VIP party attendees
MAIN EVENT RAFFLE TICKET SALES:
Quantity: (3) people
Start Time: 4:45pm

Description:
Walk around tents during main event selling raffle tickets to event attendees
Set Up:
Quantity: (7) People

Description: Layout linens, set tables (linens, napkins, centerpieces, marketing materials); Assist with registration tables
Auction Item Pick Up/Texters

Description:
After conclusion of the auction, pick up Live items and bring them to auction pick up area. Use personal mobile device to text silent auction winners to notify them of winning. Pull silent auction sheets after auction is closed, alphabetize sheets and turn in to Check Out area.

Description: Assist guest with parking. Some volunteers will be in golf carts shuttling guest from the parking area to the event entrance, and some will be directing traffic showing guest where to park. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Variety- the Children's Charity of Iowa is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged, at-risk, critically ill and special needs children throughout the state. Since the inception of the Telethon in 1975, Variety has raised more than $100 million to support the children of Iowa.
Variety is making a better future for our community by connecting people who care to programs that enable children to reach their full potential. Variety is helping create opportunities for children to fully share in the experiences of life.
Variety provides funding to non-profit children’s organizations for tangible items such as building expansions and renovations, equipment, programming needs and more. Our Kids on the Go! program provides Variety Vans to children’s organizations; bikes, helmets and locks to children who have never enjoyed their own bike; and specialized bikes for children with special needs. All children should have the opportunity to experience a playground, which is why Variety is working with Iowa communities to provide all-inclusive playgrounds for children with and without special needs.
