The VISTA Leader will provide support to the project sponsor, we well as peer-to-peer support the VISTAs at their sites. The Leader will conduct VISTA member training and ongoing professional development. They will also work with the project supervisor to ensure overall project stability and sustainability.

VISTAs are working on complementary projects that assist low-income populations to achieve success in early literacy, primary and secondary school, higher education, and/or job training.
Description
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) project, started in August 2012, places VISTA members in the Racine and Kenosha area. The program helps to build capacity and sustain collaboration among community nonprofit and government organizations to empower low income individuals and families by addressing economic development, job creation, financial education, and asset building.
