MISSOURI HISTORICAL SOCIETY JEFFERSON MEMORIAL BUILDING
The Missouri Historical Society’s Young Friends Steering Committee is seeking dynamic individuals in their 20s, 30s and 40s to join us! We plan, direct, organize and execute fun and innovative events to attract new Museum visitors and provide financial support for future exhibits.
Members of the Steering Committee serve as ambassadors for the the Missouri Historical Society (MHS) within the St. Louis community and promote the appreciation of and encourage participation in MHS within the 20s-40s demographic. Your service on the Steering Committee would provide the necessary leadership, drive and creativity MHS needs to ensure it maintains relevancy in an environment of changing public sentiment and historical interests. Thank you for considering us as your next creative stage!
Purpose Statement and Expectations
The purpose of the Steering Committee is to raise MHS’s visibility in the community and assist with fundraising. The Steering Committee is expected to develop future leadership in support of MHS and lead one large fundraising event per year, along with social events throughout the year to encourage participation in MHS.
