Join us for the West Colfax MuralFest, a free arts and music festival in the heart of 40 West Arts District, in Lakewood, CO.
Shifts are approximately 3 hours in length and you can attend the festival either before or after your shift. The festival will be a fun, artistic opportunity to see live murals painted on-site, live music, art vendors, a trolley tour of surrounding murals, food trucks, beer garden, and much much more!
Shifts are simple in nature and no previous experience of the arts district or area is needed. You might be doing things such as peremeter control, working the beer garden (21+ only), assisting with the entertainment area, info booth, etc. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes and plan to be outdoors during your shift. We have both sitting and walking/moving shifts available and can accomodate most volunteer needs.

40 West Arts is a state-certified creative district, a destination to explore and discover its unique culture (both old and new). But, it’s also a place where the business of creativity happens! From the more than 120 creative enterprises located in or near the district to the creative pulse emanating from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in the heart of the district, 40 West Arts is a creative destination where painters, sculptors, glassblowers, woodworkers, metalworkers, musicians, actors, motion artists, and makers of all kinds gather to connect, collaborate, and celebrate creativity!
