Volunteer receptionists are the face and voice of the organization! This position includes greeting visitors and clients for walk-in services, answer phone calls and assist with administrative tasks. Individuals should posses great customer service skills interacting with diverse people. We are recruiting for the following shifts:

  • Fridays from 1pm to 4:30pm
  • Substitute positions are available

Description

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services has been an anchor in the Sea Island community since before Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and in the eastside of Charleston at the Neighborhood House for over 100 years. We operate two campuses - one on Johns Island that serves residents of Johns, James, and Wadmalaw Islands, West Ashley (inside 526), Adams Run, Meggett, Ravenel, Hollywood, Edisto Island - and the other in the Eastside Community of downtown Charleston that serves residents of downtown Charleston and West Ashley (outside 526). We were founded by the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy in 1989 and we are a 501c3 organization.
