We are looking for adult volunteers to help with a new Army Cadet program here in Yelm. The program is a Boy Scout Venture Crew and structured like the Army. The program open to boys and girls, ages 13-21. We teach them life skills and prepare them for military if they choose to join. The program focuses on team building, fun activities, and volunteering in the local community. Adult volunteers can be military member, veterans, as well as non-military. We have a special need for Drill Instructors (which can be current Active Military or Veteran and you need not to have been a Drill SGT), Platoon Leaders, Company XO, Company Commander, and Battalion Commander. Please email me if you are interested and/or have questions.

Mission Statement
Operation Warrior’s Foundation, Inc is a non-profit organization that provides tangible support to Military Veterans, Military Service Members and their dependents in California and now in Washington, during times of significant hardship. By assisting these military members with food, blankets, and other household items we show our utmost respect and honor reminding them that their sacrifices have not been forgotten.
Description
Operation Warrior's Foundation, Inc was founded in September 2012. The foundation was created to offer our Veterans, military Service Members and their families a hand up by providing them with their needs by raising money, non-perishable food, clothing, children’s toys, and other household items. These items are imperative to help them take care of their families in these tough economic times. All of the donations are filtered back into our Veterans, Service Members and their families that are in need.
The foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation and 100% of it's net proceeds go directly to local Veterans and Active Military Service Members in need. All donations and gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
