Web, IT, & Ecommerce Intern/Volunteer

MCRD Museum Foundation - San Diego, CA

This position will provide day-to-day support for the MCRD Museum Foundation. The intern will have opportunities to gain nonprofit management skills, marketing experience, and knowledge of ecommerce processes. Applicants should have strong communication skills, some sales or fundraising experience, and an interest in nonprofits. Applicants must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the development team.

Responsibilities:

 Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies

 Promote Foundation memberships and events online

 Participate in outreach events

 Create marketing materials such as flyers and advertisements for web

Requirements:

· Current students or volunteers with backgrounds, preferably majoring in marketing, computer science, or a related field

· Some sales or fundraising experience preferred
