Serve24

Serve24 is an service outreach that will last for 24 hours! We do this because we want to serve our community by showing them What HOPE looks like by our LOVE!

This year Serve24 will be a part of Serve Jersey Shore, 30+ churches and non-profit organizations serving the communities of Monmouth and Ocean Counties for a FULL 24 hours! Serve24 will be the HUB location for Monmouth County! There will be HOPE & LOVE poured out into the Jersey Shore on Saturday, August 19th - S unday, August 20th!

If you want to know how you can get involved, we have planning meetings coming this week! Send us a PM and someone will get back to you!

We are looking for worship teams, bands, speakers, volunteers, corporate sponsors, sponsors, food vendors, anyone with a special talent!

Let's show our communities what HOPE looks like by our LOVE shown through SERVICE!

Mission Statement

The mission of the Jersey Shore Dream Center is to provide sustainability through Godly restoration of men, women, children, seniors, and veterans who are overcome by life controlling issues, such as chronic homelessness, addiction, poverty, abuse and hunger.

Description

The Jersey Shore Dream Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Asbury Park, which has the second-highest concentration of poverty in New Jersey. According to the U.S. Census data updated in 2013, the median household income in Asbury Park is $30,983. In comparison, New Jersey’s median household income is more than double this amount ($71,629).

On a year-round basis, the Jersey Shore Dream Center operates a number of community-based programs that address various aspects of poverty. These programs tackle hunger, homelessness, addiction, prisoner re-entry, babies born into poverty, children requiring afterschool care, women who have survived abuse, and homebound seniors.
