Passionate for all things local? Lend a hand to help us with a farmers market.

Each week Downtown Whitewater, Inc hosts a farmers market located at the historic train depot in Whitewater, WI. Every Tuesday we have a variety of shifts from 2 pm to 8 pm to help with a variety of tasks from arranging market furniture, observing the designated beer area, assisting with questions and directions to market goers, circulating with water for vendors, and much more. We can sign off on service hours for a variety of needs as well.

About Downtown, Whitewater, Inc

Mission Statement

Downtown Whitewater, Inc. is a volunteer-driven organization spearheading community efforts to re-energize and enhance our historic downtown. We are community advocates and volunteers who share a passion for Whitewater. We bring people from all walks of life together to celebrate Whitewater’s history and traditions, to care for our downtown neighborhood, and to inspire confidence and investments that are flowing toward an economically vibrant, engaging and exciting place in the heart of Whitewater - a place we love, a place we’re proud to call home, and a place where future generations can grow and take pride in calling their own.

DTWW is a public-private partnership founded in 2005 and made a member of the Wisconsin Main Street Program in 2006. The organization is led by a full-time director and an 13-member board of directors that includes downtown business owners, downtown property owners, community members, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater staff, and City of Whitewater staff. Since 2006 DTWW’s work has resulted in numerous renovated buildings, twice the parking spaces, an increased tax base, and a vibrant city market in the downtown.
