The Midtown Beach Music Series benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle this year. We need volunteers to help work the concerts and raise awareness for BBBST!
Call time will be 5pm - 9pm (4 hours total)
Volunteers will be in the ID tents helping check id's, bags, and giving out wristbands. We will also direct patrons to the BBBST tent for more info on the organization.
You should wear comfy, closed toed, shoes and ideally solid color pants or shorts (khaki, blue, black) but it's not mandatory. You will receive a volunteer shirt at the event.

Description
All youth have the ability to do BIG things. That is why Big Brothers Big Sisters of Triangle (BBBST) ignites the potential within every child and advocates for them to explore the endless possibilities of what they can accomplish. There are an estimated 42,454 children living at or below the federal poverty level in Wake, Durham and Orange Counties. 64% of these children live in a single parent home. Although these youth may experience obstacles on a regular basis, they do not lack the ability to overcome those obstacles and reach their full potential.
For more than 20 years, BBBST has been Eastern North Carolina’s premier mentoring organization, defending the potential of future leaders in the community by matching at-risk youth (Littles) with committed adult mentors (Bigs). These relationships - strategically matched based on Littles’ needs and Bigs’ backgrounds and skills, as well as common interests, aspirations, and personalities - empower Littles to achieve success in life and become productive members of the community.
