Plano Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers Needed!

We currently are recruiting and have a great need for volunteer drivers to help us deliver meals Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Plano! With drop sites in East and West Plano, we make volunteering with Meals on Wheels easy and accessible. Most routes have about 10 seniors and take approximately an hour to complete.

If you would like to become a Meals on Wheels driver, there are a couple steps to complete:

• Fill out the volunteer application and background check form.
• Attend a drivers training session at our office, located at 600 N Tennessee St in McKinney. We hold these every Wednesday at 2:00pm with no appointment necessary, so feel free to come by anytime you'd like. Please bring your completed forms, $10 for a background check processing fee, your drivers license and your current auto insurance.

The background check usually takes about a week to be processed, so once we get that back then we'll get you set up on a route that bests fits your location and availability and get you delivering soon!
