Community Resource Center’s "Holiday Baskets" program is the largest holiday distribution of its kind in San Diego County and expects to serve an estimated 1,500 households, including over 3,000 children this holiday season. Eligible families will be invited to shop at no cost, for outerwear, toys, blankets and other items to help brighten their Holidays.

Volunteer Job Description:

Four to six volunteers (at least three bilingual in English/ Spanish) needed to register families for Community Resource Center’s (CRC) Holiday Baskets Program at various locations in CRC’s service area. To complete administrative tasks including data entry related to the registrations, volunteers should be strongly familiar with email, Microsoft Word and Excel and have ability to use a tablet.

Volunteers should be willing to:

  • Attend one registration training session in Aug.
  • Volunteer 10-12 hrs. a week from September through December (Weekdays between 8a and 5p)
  • Use own car to drive to registration locations primarily in Encinitas, Vista, Carlsbad,San Marcos, Del Mar and Oceanside
  • Be available Dec 15 th, 16th or 17th
  • Complete Live scan fingerprint ( Fee paid by CRC)
