Volunteers Needed for ONE DROP's Walk for Water Event

The Walk for Water event starts at The Smith Center, where participants gather to listen to music, play games and warm up for the walk. Once the walk begins, participants then head West on Alta to the Springs Preserve where games, music, and food/drinks are provided.
Volunteers are needed at The Smith Center, on the route, and at Springs Preserve. Volunteer roles include holding signs, motivating walkers, directing walkers, and setting up/breaking down at The Smith Center and Springs Preserve.
There will be shuttles transporting volunteers as early as 6:30am to/from Springs Preserve and the Smith Center to wherever volunteers are needed most at the time.
Volunteers will be given a free volunteer t-shirt and snacks/drinks!

Access to safe water is one of the most efficient ways to support individual and collective development. However, water projects can fail due to the absence of an integrated approach. Problems can range from inappropriate initial design to broken pumps, no maintenance training and contaminated water points resulting from lack of sanitation facilities and unhealthy hygiene practices. To prevent and help solve these problems, ONE DROP(tm) has developed the unique A∙B∙C for Sustainability(tm) intervention approach, a winning combination of strategic and operational initiatives designed to address sustainable access to safe water.
