ORGANIZATION: Freedom Palliative Hospice Care - Texarkana

  • 4 people are interested

Freedom Palliative Hospice Care needs volunteers to visit our patients. Hands on care is not required and we can easily accommodate your busy schedule if you have the desire to become a hospice volunteer.

The gift of "presence" is one that is often overlooked until it is needed. Most of our patients that need volunteer visits are simply needing friendly companionship. The hospice team consists of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains and volunteers striving to improve the quality of life for terminally ill people and their families.

Time commitment to volunteer depends on how involved you would like to be, but even if you have only a small amount of time to give it could make a big difference!
