Heritage Trails Hospice Patients Need Friendly Visitors
ORGANIZATION: Freedom Hospice Palliative Care - Cleburne
Please visit the new page to apply.
The gift of "presence" is one that is often overlooked until it is needed. Most of our patients that need volunteer visits are simply needing companionship. The hospice team consists of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains and volunteers striving to improve the quality of life for terminally ill people and their families.
Freedom Hospice offers free online volunteer training so that you may complete at your own pace. Time commitment to volunteering depends on how involved you would like to be, even if you have only a small amount of time it could make a big difference!
For more information or to fill out an application please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
