Vitalant formerly United Blood Services is in need of help registering blood donors at our annual summer blood drive in Fargo, ND! Previously recognized as Fargo's Battle of the Badges, this year's "Save Our Summer" Community Blood Drive will be happening 11:00-7:00pm at West Acres every day July 23-26.

This volunteer would occupy the registration table and assist blood donors with the registration process including signing donors in on the sign-in sheet, verifying donor identification, distributing required reading materials to each donor, and contacting no-shows.

Local cancer patients, accident victims, birthing mothers and surgery patients are counting on us so that they can have more time to spend with their loved ones. Help save a life by signing up to volunteer today!

1 Shift

  • afternoon / 12:00 PM to 04:45 PM
    Shifts vary from 12pm - 7pm Tuesday throught Thrusay and Friday 9am - 2:30pm

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
