We are committed to helping you find creative ways to engage with your community, bring fun into your company culture and help you help the animals of Rowlett!
We are seeking partnerships with area businesses or individuals that lead to annual initiatives that support our year-round animal adoption and rescue programs.
We have campaigns of all sizes: from as little as putting a donation box at your front desk for one month each year, to hosting an adoption event, to creating your own large scale fundraising extravaganza.
We hope you will find a campaign that you want to call your own, as large or as small as you think your team will enjoy. Our team of experienced and dedicated volunteers can help!
If you would rather just donate to our organization, we can do that too!
Go to friendsofrowlettanimals.org/donate. All donations are used to work towards our mission of saving the sick and homeless animals of Rowlett and surrounding areas as well as education and support our community through informational outreach. We are 100% funded by donations such as yours and every little big helps.
If you have any questions or need assistance you can email info@friendsofrowlettanimals.org and one of the board members will get back with you.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide resources, programs and education to promote adoption and care of homeless pets in Rowlett and the Lake Ray Hubbard area.
Description
Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization. FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter. Our organization has grown to include a cat rescue program and support to the Garland Animal Shelter. With over 300 volunteers, we help both the Rowlett and Garland animals shelters maintain a live release rate above 90% to be considered No Kill. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events , sponsor heartworm treatments for all dogs in the shelter that test positive for heartworms, and so much more! FRAs has not only grown in our volunteer size, but we have grown to meet the needs of our community.
