Backpack & School Supply Drive - July 9 - August 15, 2018
For many Enfield families, purchasing school supplies for their children is an overwhelming financial challenge because the costs of necessary items are beyond their means.
With your support and the support of your family, colleagues, parishioners, and members of your organizations, we can reach our goal and ensure that all Enfield students are ready to succeed on the first day of school.
Last year, we provided the community with over 800 new backpacks filled with school supplies and provided them to kids in grades K-12. This year we anticipate the need to be over 1,000 backpacks and need as much help as possible to reach this goal. We are looking for local groups and individuals to "sponsor a backpack" by going out and filling a certain number of backpacks for local students. More information along with a list of grade level school supplies is available on our website www.erfcinc.org
In addition, starting the week of August 7 th individuals and agencies have an opportunity to volunteer and assist with filling of the backpacks with grade level school supplies at the ERfC Administrative Office, Enfield Office Suites, 174 South Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Volunteers can choose (1- 2) hour block of time between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on any of the following dates:
