** ** Given the latest state and national guidance, Solana Center's volunteer opportunities have been postponed until the Governor’s Executive Order to Stay-at-Home is lifted.
We will continue to monitor developments with COVID-19 and as soon as we are able to open again and reschedule events, we will make sure to announce it publicly.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to Solana Center and we appreciate your support for public safety at this critical time.**
Through education and action, Solana Center guides businesses to sustainable practices and empowers students, adults, and organizations to become environmental stewards in their communities. Our organization is built on the inspiration and dedication of passionate volunteers like you!
On the last Tuesday of every month we hold our Build and Beautify monthly volunteer day, where volunteers can get involved with our programs from our home base. Activities vary, from playing in our demonstration compost bins, to beautifying our grounds with your own artistic contributions.
Come enjoy our office's peaceful back garden, and the company of other wonderful green-minded folk as you help us sustain our education programs. Plus, depending on the season, we'll send you home with a handful of fruit right off the tree!
Check out our website to see what we are doing this month!
