New Beginning Hospice has patients with life-limiting illness whom are in need of comfort. What better way to comfort the elderly than to play music! We are looking for volunteers who can play any instrument, piano, wind, air, string, electronic, etc. and at any level, professional to in front of the mirror.
If you enjoy playing music, or you need practice, or you need an audience, please come play for our patients.
Volunteer requirement from Medicare include:
- CPR certification
- Fingerprint Card
- Tuberculosis screening
- Orientation
(All which we provide if volunteer does not already have it)
Our patients live outside an inpatient unit, they are mainly located in the West, Sun City, Surprise, Glendale, Peoria and in Tempe and Phoenix. We place volunteers as close to patients as possible for convenience.

We believe that the patient and the family are an integral decision making member of the hospice team in planning and receiving care. As health professionals, we are dedicated to educating the community about the hospice benefit.
