The Regional Youth Services program at Family Services is hosting a summer camp experience for 8-10 year old girls on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-3pm from July 11 through August 17 at 620 East Diamond Avenue, Suite H in Gaithersburg.

The camp director is looking for volunteers who have experience with planning kids' activities such as arts, crafts, STEM projects, sports, games and other activities. Two volunteers are needed to assist the camp director each day. Most of the girls who will attend have never had a summer camp experience, so we want to offer them an opportunity to learn new things, be creative, make friends, and have FUN!

Volunteers are asked to help every Tuesday and Thursday, or help every Tuesday or Thursday. The goal is to get a consistent group of 2-4 volunteers who can commit to helping throughout the entire summer program.

Volunteers need to be 18 years and older, attend a Family Services, Inc. orientation and complete a background check as directed by Family Services. The Regional Youth Services program will offer other training as needed.
