The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers who can donate their knitting, sewing, or crocheting skillset. Items recieved will be provided for free to people facing a cancer diagnosis. We are specifically seeking small pillows or covers to place between a patients chest port and seatbelt while on the way to and from treatment. We are also seeking handmade hats for patients who have lost their hair due to treatment, or other comfort items such as soft scarves, throw blankets, socks. Other creative ideas are welcome.

This opportunity is available to individuals or groups. The volunteer is asked to cover the costs of mateirals. There is no miniumum donation needed so volunteers can provide their help based on their ability.
