Driver Assistant ride along with a driver to pick up from area donors and help with binning and loading donations. Volunteers should be able to carry and left 40 pounds comfortably.
We are looking for volunteers for Wednesday and Friday 7:30 am - 10:30 am.

Mission Statement
The Mission of the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse, Inc. is to eliminate hunger by harvesting community resources and being the voice of the hungry.
Description
The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse has two programs The Food Recovery Program and The Kane Street Community Garden.
The Food Recovery Programs collects nutritious food that would other end up in landfills and distributes it to 70 hunger programs in La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau, and Vernon Counties. These hunger programs include food pantries, meal sites, and youth programs.
The Kane Street Community Garden was created to help ensure free nutritious produce was available to everyone. The Garden grows 30,000 pounds of produce each year on 2 city blocks. Produce is distributed free of charge to the public.
