Loudoun Library Foundation's annual book sale needs volunteers for setup (June 21 & 22) and sale (June 23-25). For setup, we need to set up tables, unpack and display books, and place signage. For the sale itself, volunteers greet and assist customers, straighten and consolidate books on tables, tabulate sales & collect payment.
We have a variety of jobs at the sale, from those for people who can carry heavy boxes to those for people needing a seated task. Please note your age if you are under 20 years old (or note "adult").
Volunteers at the sale and setup receive a $5 voucher for every 3 hours of work, up to two per day.
Hours:
SETUP: Wednesday, 10:00-5:00, Thursday, 9:00-5:00
SALE: Friday, 9:00-7:00, Saturday. 9:00-5:00, Sunday (fewer volunteers needed) 12:00-4:00.
All money raised supports public libraries in Loudoun County. Find us on Facebook.
