How Can You Help?
The Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer program at Pathways aims to pair Veteran volunteers with Veteran patients.
Veteran Volunteers:
- Take part in regualr visits of Vets in homes or facilities.
- Educate and assist Vets and their familes in receiving Veteran benefits.
- Take part in pinning ceremonies or distribute certificates for Veterans Day & other recognition events.
- Educate Vets at Veteran Service Organizations using resources provided from the We Honor Veterans program.
Is there training involved?
- Yes. All Volunteer attend a general Volunteer Training session held on specific dates throughout the year and will receive supplmental education pertaining to the We Honor Veterans program.
