Minimum commitment once per week. Morning shifts 8:30-12. Afternoon shifts 1:30-5
Volunteer Duties for the Client Services
Interacting one on one with clients. Working with computer data base, entering services that each client receives. Conduct "intakes" for our new clients. Schedule laundry, shower and case management appointments. Volunteers will distribute bus tokens and fill out monthly grocery orders. Volunteers will receive training on the data base as well as the policies of the organization. Volunteers must feel comfortable enforcing the policies with clients.
Computer/Job Lab Volunteer Duties
- Assist and monitor the clients in the learning lab
- Prepare and update job listings
- Help clients with resume and cover letter
- Maintain binder of job flyers and workshop materials
- Keep record/attendance of clients in the learning lab
- Provide and maintain USB for each client to store their resume and job search related materials
