Help reduce the pollutants in our rivers and lakes during the Spring/Summer. Volunteer to place markers that say 'No Dumping -Drains to River' on storm drains that run into our local rivers and lakes and distribute literature on pollutant awareness.
Storm Drain Marker Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age with an interest in water conservation and willingness to help the environment.
Physical Demands:
- Carry load of markers and literature for distribution.
- Able to walk from inlet to inlet and to residential doors.
- Able to kneel and bend in order to place markers.
Hours/ Shifts:
Flexible; 2 hour minimum commitment per shift
