ORGANIZATION: ASD Adult Achievement Center

ASD Adult Achievement Center is seeking a Program Assistant. to volunteer on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 pm to 4pm.

The position would include helping in the classroom for either the Self Advocacy Program (on Mondays) or the Career Success Shop Program (on Wednesdays). Your duties would include assisting the participants or helping the facilitator with whatever he/she needs.

This position is perfect for college or grad students that want to gain experience working with young adults with ASD. Working from our location, the Program Assistant will work collaboratively to carry out our mission, empowering adults with ASD with knowledge for successful living. We provide a nurturing environment and are seeking volunteers that have a strong desire to support our program participants with patience, empathy and understanding.

ASD Adult Achievement Center is a non-profit provider of services for individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Founded in 2016, ASD Achievement serves adults 18 and over who desire greater independence. ASD Achievement provides training and education in the areas of independent life skills, social skills, executive function skills and job readiness skills to Central Florida residents.
