The purpose of the LifeBridge Ambassador role is to engage our clients to find out what types of services they need, explain some of the programs LifeBridge can offer and where it seems like there is a good fit make a referral to a particular program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Gain a functional understanding of all LifeBridge programs and services, including eligibility criteria and program restrictions by meeting with staff 2. Develop an internal resource manual for all current LifeBridge programs that can be easily updated by future Ambassadors 3. Engage LifeBridge clients at appropriate opportunities such as in the waiting area, waiting to access the Community Closet, at the Agency block party, during VITA preparation, etc and foster a discussion about their needs and LifeBridge's programs 4. Handout LifeBridge program materials as appropriate 5. Track client interactions to measure important data such as the number of contacts and client interest 6. Make program referrals, as appropriate 7. Analyze Ambassador success and make suggestions for future improvements

LifeBridge understands that people impacted by poverty are challenged by a range of complex social, economic, and health issues, and that their plight affects the quality of life and stability of our communities. We inspire and empower our clients by linking flexible, innovative programs to strengthen personal capability, develop skills, and build a pathway to economic self-sufficiency. Each client receives an individual plan of comprehensive services that are delivered through four core programs: Economic Empowerment, Youth Services, Behavioral Health, and Social Enterprises.
