People in Oakland County partner with Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County to build or improve a place they can call home. No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures.
Habitat Oakland County homeowners help build their homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
Put your office skills to good use! We are in need of help around the office, from answering phones to filing to data entry. We would love your support of Habitat's mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Office volunteer shifts are flexible Monday through Friday and we will work around your availability. We would also love to have regular CORE office volunteers who can come at the same time every week. For more information about this position, please contact volunteer@habitatoakland.org

We promote decent, affordable housing for all, and we support the global community’s commitment to housing as a basic human right. We advocate for just and fair housing policy to eliminate the constraints that contribute to poverty housing. - Promote dignity and hope.
We believe that no one lives in dignity until everyone can live in dignity. We believe that every person has something to contribute and something to gain from creating communities in which all people have decent, affordable places to live. - Support sustainable and transformational development.
