EDUCATION VOLUNTEERING
Over the years we have established a network of organizations and schools that have meaningful projects for international and local volunteers. Volunteer opportunities in Cape Town include hands-on teaching, mentoring of young people, after-school curricular programme as well as opportunities to volunteer your research, advocacy, and fundraising skills in the name of education and capacity building.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTOur volunteer programme includes organisations which focus primarily on homelessness, safety, housing, orphanages, and training of local leadership. Social work volunteers can assist with refugee issues, orphanages, while we also offer opportunities for speech therapy, physical therapy and nursing students and professionals.
PRIMARY HEALTH CAREVolunteering in Primary Health is a great way to gain work experience whilst helping some of the neediest people and poorest resourced communities. Learn more about health care while assisting staff, sharing your skills and observing trained professionals. We have partnerships with local institutions that require expertise in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nursing.
