Do you enjoy helping those in need? Are you interested in learning the functions of a medical front office while gaining experience in Health Information Technology?
Volunteers in Medicine is a nonprofit medical clinic that provides free healthcare to low-income, uninsured Nevada residents through the work of volunteers. In this role, volunteers will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties related to updating and organizing VMSN’s electronic information system. This person will be responsible for the distribution of information as it relates to the electronic medical records system, as well as the nursing station and other departments within the facility. This position is perfect for someone interested in pursuing an advanced degree in the medical field and interested in learning more about Health Information Technology.

Description
Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada is a nonprofit medical clinic that provides free healthcare and medication to low-income, uninsured Nevada residents through the work of volunteers. We have doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals that volunteer to provide this medical care, but we also have non-medical individuals who volunteer in all departments within our clinic.
