To visit with residents "one-on-one" or in a group program. As a volunteer, you would go room to room with your pet, visiting with resident who enjoy animals. Visit with resident and talk about your pet, show off your pet or perform tricks.

Description
The Sentara Rehabilitation and Care Residence is designed to feel more like home. We are proud to be one of a select few senior communities in Virginia to feature the innovative household model of care. Our specially designed community promotes the development of vibrant, family-like relationships as well as independence for our residents. This new model of care features 120 private rooms, of which 40 rooms are dedicated to short-term rehabilitation in the Great Bridge Pavilion, that also provides personalized care and 24/7 dining.
