WPLFF July 4th Book Cart Drill Team
The book cart drill team routine performed by WPLFF board members was a big hit in the 2017 4th of July parade in Waukee!

Waukee Public Library Friends Foundation supports the library through fundraising, volunteerism and advocacy. Get involved as a WPLFF board member and help plan fun community events to raise awareness and money that provides materials and services the city budget cannot. Board members attend monthly meetings, participate on a committee, help at events including book sales, fundraisers and parades! Specific needs for 2019 and beyond include:

Fundraiser/Event Planner- Looking for person with experience to help plan at least two fundraising events in the coming year. All ideas are welcome, some being considered are a Fun Run, Silent Auction, Wine Tasting, Adult Easter or Halloween Event, Trivia event, Bingo.

Secretary-Looking for organized person to take notes and maintain google drive documents, new officers are elected in February so good timing to get on board now!

We are looking for board members eager to get involved in their Waukee community by attending monthly board meetings and promoting the Friends Foundation. What skills do you have to share with us? Board meetings are the 2nd Tuesday, 10 months of the year, at 6:30pm
