The Alzheimer's Association is looking for a Support Group Facilitator to facilitate a support group for care partners in Duluth. The group meets monthly.
Alzheimer’s Association-affiliated caregiver support groups are mutual help groups designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. These meetings help participants develop coping methods and encourage caregivers to maintain their personal, physical, and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia.
The Alzheimer's Association provides training for Support Group Faciliators four times a year.
