Volunteers Needed!
Be part of an exceptional event this summer, Classical Tahoe, an orchestra concert series. This event will take place at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village.
The Classical Tahoe orchestra is comprised of fifty virtuoso musicians invited from the great orchestras of North America and beyond, including the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the symphonies of San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and others.
We are currently seeking volunteers for our 2017 concert series. Classical Tahoe 2017 will be held July 28 th to August 12 th.
Volunteers are needed the following dates:
Fridays, July 28 th, August 4 th, and August 11 th from 5:00 PM-8:30 PM
Saturdays, July 29 th, August 5 th, and August 12 th from 5:00 PM-8:30 PM
Sunday, July 30 th, 10:30am - 1pm
Tuesdays, August 1 st and August 8 th from 5:00 PM-8:30 PM

Description
In 2012, the Lake Tahoe SummerFest organization was created to become a world-renowned celebration of the arts to enrich the cultural, educational and economic vitality of Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director and Conductor Joel Revzen, Classical Tahoe has assembled a virtuoso orchestra of musicians from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Seattle and Dallas Symphonies, LA Phil and Reno Phil and other exceptional orchestras throughout the world. The festival has become a sought-after gathering and experience for our orchestra musicians who return year after year. Our audience is thrilled by the level of artistry and small-tent setting both of which provide an intimate experience with our orchestra and musicians before, during and after the performance. Classical Tahoe’s intimacy is unlike any other festival of this quality in the world.
Classical Tahoe features six full orchestra concerts, three chamber music programs, a free family concert and a pre-K Music and Movement class during the three-week festival held on the campus of Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada.
