A volunteer is needed to support those who are grieving a loved one. Our hospice team provides support to loved ones of passed patients for 13 months after the death. The bereavement volunteer assists the bereavement coordinator in completing mailings with information about grief. The bereavement volunteer also can call loved ones to offer support by phone. Training is provided to teach how to provide excellent care to those grieving. Be a part of our hospice team and make a difference in our community! An interview, application, background check, medical release, Tuberculosis screening, and training are required. We are looking for someone with time, a kind heart, great listening ears, and team player! Those who enjoy completing mailings are encouraged to apply!
