The Salvation Army San Antonio Area Command will hold a volunteer orientation every second Tuesday of the month from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Center of Hope located at 521 W. Elmira Street, 78212. Anyone interested in volunteering can attend and get more information on how to get involved. Attendees will also get a tour of the facility, and have the opportunity to fill out a volunteer application. Refreshments and light snacks will be served. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to see our daily operations first hand and learn more about our seasonal volunteer events. Let’s make a difference together! The Salvation Army of San Antonio aims at making the community a better place. The Salvation Army offers a wide assortment of programs including our Emergency Family Shelter, Men's Shelter, Social Services, Disaster Services, Boys and Girls Club, Senior Center and Senior Living Facilities.
The Salvation Army "Now More Than Ever," needs volunteers to assist those in our community who are in need of our help.
