ORGANIZATION: New Beginning Hospice & Palliative Care

New Beginning Hospice is looking for pet therapists with certified pets to help comfort our patients in their final days. Pets could include, dogs, cats, horses, birds, lizards, etc. all as long as certified therapy/comfort/emotional therapy animal. Animals must be groomed regularly with tidy nails, no biting/licking/slobering, and no barking/loud meowing etc. Dogs need proof of rabies vaccination.

Our patients will love any animal willing to comfort them.

Owners would need to go through an orientation, have CPR cert, and fingerprint card (we can provide all).

Patients are located in group homes, assisted living facilities, and at home in Glendale, Sun City, Surprise, Tempe, and Phoenix.
